The restraining device is apparently called a ‘scavenger’s daughter’ and was invented in the court of King Henry VIII. Rarely used historically, there is one genuine one known to exist that is still in the Tower of London. (xpost from /r/Bondage)
One of the camp girls, semi-wild females who inhabit the areas around the campsites and picnic areas, scavenging for scraps and attention. As long as they do not make a nuisance of themselves, the rangers don't chase them away. Visitors seem to find them
